Jesus taught the disciple that love is the key. When he said in Mark 12: 30-3130 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
The goal of the CARE MINISTRY is to show the Love of Christ to our Church and Community. The CARE MINISTRY consist of three arms, Outreach, Prayer and Service.
Outreach- We try to make contact with anyone who is visiting our church, and provide information to our visitors about the vast and various ministries that are a vital part of Richardson’s Cove Baptist Church.
Prayer- We have a prayer team who prays over the request that are given to us through the CARE CARDS. The prayer team receives the new request every week and adds them to their prayer journal.
Service- The CARE MINISTRY also leads a cooperative effort with the Men’s and Women’s ministries to provide for our church family. We may mow yard or prepare a meal for families who just need a little help.
