“Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.” -Proverbs 31:10

Probably a force, whether of men, means or other resources; an army, wealth, virtue, valor, strength: - able, activity, (+) army, band of men (soldiers), company, (great) forces, goods, host, might, power, riches, strength, strong, substance, train, (+) valiant (-ly), valour, virtuous (-ly), war, worthy (-ily).
The value of such a woman is declared in the Bible as exceedingly above valuable rubies. To have one or possibly two in your life would be more than a person could ask for. The Hebrew description above reminds us that virtue means more than just power. To find such a woman would be a blessing from the Father.
I can say then, that I am blessed. I was born into a home of security, structure, encouragement and an abundance of love. My mother has always been there to guide, support and teach me how to live a Godly life. Her willingness to invest time in my brother’s life and mine will not be forgotten. I can honestly say I am a better man for the life my mother has and is living before me.
My wife, Tammy, is the other virtuous woman in my life. From the beginning of our relationship over 40 years ago I knew there was something special about her and it didn’t take long to realize God had placed her in my life to share it together. She has and continues to be exactly what I need at every stage of life. She has been virtuous through not only raising our sons but, ministry would not be possible without knowing she is there to serve at my side.
God has also blessed my life with 2 wonderful daughters-in-law who carry the same desire to be Godly wives and raise their children to trust in the Lord. The closeness we have in our family is truly a blessing from God.
So, Since it’s May, I wish my mother, wife Tammy, Kelci, Destiny and all of the amazing mothers in our church family a blessed and wonderful MOTHER”S DAY!
